National Front flays property destruction
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Feb 20: The National Front has castigated India for what it termed as destroying Kashmir’s economy. Addressing a congregation at Kachwa Muqam, Varmul, where two militants were killed in a gunbattle, party leader, Ghulam Nabi War, said, “The property of people is deliberately destroyed by security forces in encounters with militants.”
“After destroying the property, India is giving an impression to the world that Kashmir cannot survive without the economic support of India,” a party statement said.
Condemning the detention of chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, the party resolved that his detention would not deter it to carry on the struggle.
A delegation of party members visited the residence of Nazir Ahmad Parra, whose house was razed by the troops in the gunfight and expressed solidarity with the family.
