Rs 222 cr power tariff realized in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 20: The Power Development Department has collected revenue of Rs. 222 crore of power tariff from the consumers of Kashmir province against the current financial year’s target of Rs. 402 crore upto February 18, 2010.
This was stated at a high level meeting, convened by Minister of State for Power, Shabir Ahmad Khan to review the revenue realization of power tariff in Kashmir province here today, an official statement said.
Power Development Commissioner, Asgar Ali Majaz, Special Secretary PDD, Altaf Hussain Indrabi, Chief Engineer M&RE Kashmir, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers of all electric divisions attended the meeting.
