Sumo drivers demand stand, get batons
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Feb 23: Sumo drivers on Tuesday took out a rally in the City centre protesting against the authorities for not providing them with a stand at Batmaloo, which provides transport services to entire north Kashmir while police used force to disperse the protesters.
The drivers said while the passengers face inconvenience in the absence of the designated stand, the Sumo operators were facing harassment at the hands of transport regulatory agencies.
“We want an end to this chaos,” the protesters said.
