Drug abuse

We are facing many social evils. Drug abuse is one among them. The scenario in the rural areas is no better. The youth have an easy access to drugs. It not only plays havoc with their health but also intoxicates their mindset and forces them to perform crimes. The government apathy is compounding the problem. Unauthorised medical shops have flourished across the Valley. It is high time the government realizes the gravity of the situation and curbs this menace, once and for all. The addicts should be treated at the de-addiction centres, where they can be guided properly. Let’s save our youth from falling prey to this menace. It will infuse a sense of safety and security among them.
