Farooqi new director SRC

Srinagar: Showkat Farooqi has been appointed as new director, State Resource Centre University of Kashmir.
Farooqi who worked as project officer in SRC for more than a decade helped it developing materials and training functionaries in the areas of literacy, post literacy and continuing education in particular and especially in the areas of women empowerment and childcare, an official handout said.
“Farooqi has significant contribution in the area of art literature and theater.”
