Lakhwinder in judicial custody

Srinagar, Feb 24: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar today remanded BSF personnel Lakhwinder Kumar to 11 days judicial custody in Central Jail Srinagar.
The application was presented by police Special Investigating Team. The accused Lakhwinder Kumar of 68 Battalion BSF was present in person. “I have perused the application. The accused has been arrested on February 10, 2010, during investigation of the case,” the CJM said.
The Court said that from the perusal of the remand application and the case dairy sufficient grounds exist for remanding the accused. The Court however ordered that the accused should be presented before it on March 6, 2010.
