Mainstream parties creating confusion: Asiya
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Feb 24: The Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Milat, Asiya Andrabi, on Wednesday accused mainstream parties of hatching a conspiracy to derail the ongoing movement.
“The ongoing freedom movement and people remaining steadfast towards a cause have frustrated the government and the opposition party. They are putting in all efforts to create confusion in the society. They are playing dirty politics over every killing, be it death of 11-day old Irfan or killing of Wamiq Farooq,” Asiya said in a statement.
“While the ruling party,” she
said, had drafted “cruel policies” to “sabotage the ongoing movement.” “The opposition party is shedding crocodile tears for mere political gains.
But these parties can’t befool people,” she added. Asiya said Kashmiris have been facing “repression” for past 63- years for raising their voice to get the Right to Self Determination. “Successive regimes have followed similar policies to crush the movement. Each has been crueller than the other,” she said, adding, “Youth have to remain cautious. They need to keep anti-movement elements and agents of mainstream parties at bay.”
