Safakadal, Soura shrines to be protected monuments

Jammu, Feb 24: The government has declared the shrine of Sheikh Ibrahim (RA) at Shah Kadal, near Safakadal Srinagar and the ancient monument comprising structure in the form of a tomb situated at Soura Srinagar to be protected monuments with the meaning of J&K Ancient Monuments Act, Samvat 1977, an official handout Wednesday said
“Further, the State Government has invited objections within two months if any, to the issue of notification of declaring the ancient monument Qallai Ander as the protected monument,” it added.
