Ahead of Milad residents demand streetlights

Srinagar, Feb 25: Ahead of Eid-e-Milad (SAW), the Falah-e-Behbood Committee Naseemabad Kanitar has complained that the road from Kanitar to Dargah sans streetlights despite repeated requests.
 In statement, the Committee said the pedestrians and commuters were facing tremendous inconvenience. “The absence of streetlights caused many mishaps and injuries to the people. We fear the same may recur during Shabh,” the Committee said adding that despite numerous reminders the municipal corporation failed to erect the lights.
