DGP visits Hazratbal

SRINAGAR, FEB 26: The Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda Friday visited Hazratbal and took stock of the Police bandobast made in connection with Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
The DGP inspected the deployment of the police in the area to facilitate the people visiting the shrine in connection with the auspicious occasion.
Khoda visited the police camp set up for the purpose at Hazratbal and held a meeting of the officers of Traffic, Homeguards and other wings of the Police deployed there.
An official handout said: “The parking of vehicles at the already identified places also came under discussion in the meeting. He asked the officers to ensure that devotees visiting Hazratbal do not face any difficulty. He also stressed for close coordination among all the wings of the Police.”
