Saraf Kadal drain construction to start within week: Xen

Srinagar, Feb 2: Prompted by the inconvenience faced by the Saraf Kadal residents due to recent waterlogging in the Shahr-e-Khaas area, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation has said the work on new drain would be started within a week.
 In a public notification vide advertisements in print media, the Executive Engineer, City Drainage System SMC, said: “It has been decided that the work for construction of new drain at Saraf Kadal and other (adjoining areas) will be taken up in hand within 7 days in order to provide immediate relief t the locals of the concerned area.”
