Photojournalist lost

This refers to the death of a photo journalist Allah Rakha which shook the whole family and media fraternity. It took many months to hold a pen and write it. It’s very hard for a sister to write an epitaph for her own photo journalist brother. Oh brother I miss you a lot I need you  a lot, where have you gone. You were the apply of our eyes, we played together, we ate together, w had spend our childhood together and now you left us in the middle. No brother I can’t stand this. I can’t sleep at night, my mind, my heart struck me how can I sleep on the bed as you are in grave. Oh my dear brother where I was when you met that accident why didn’t I feel something when that cruel tipper hit you to death. I thought you are in the Dargah, why didn’t my ears burst hearing this dreadful news. It was Iftaar time when I asked my mother where he is? She replied that he has some assignment work at Dargah.
How should I know that will be our last meeting with you? Oh my dear brother your plans are still here, where you are? Dear brother your room is waiting for you where you are? Those sparrow which you had hung in your room were gone silent, your music system is still untouched, your clothes in the hangers are waiting for you. Why did you leave me, when we had lived together.
The dream you had in your life that once there will be your name in every newspaper oh my dear brother your name came in every newspaper but as a condolence. Your death created a void, you were the very important member of the family. You are in every corner, you are in our heart forever. So what if you don’t exist on this earth. So what if you are beneath the earth and we upon the earth we will also come to you one day, we will Insha Allah meet you one day. Death cannot separate us. You will live for ever. For ever.
Nahid Latief
Sister of Allah Rakha
