Sapphire coming under hammer

Jammu, Feb 4: J&K Minerals Limited is conducting open auction of 22,000 grams of rough Sapphire Corundum of Paddar mines in Kishtwar on February 8 and 9 at Udhyog Bhawan Jammu.
 According to a notice of J&K Minerals, the precious mineral is world famous because of its unique Peacock Neck blue colour, which is rarely available in other parts of the world. The last auction of 11,000 grams of sapphire was held in March 2008 and fetched handsome revenue to the undertaking.
 Interested Gem Merchants and Jewelers within and outside the country can avail the opportunity.
