Farah Pandit to visit India

New Delhi, Feb 5: Farah Pandit, the US  Special Representative to the Muslim World, is expected to visit India from the middle of this month to interact with senior Government functionaries as well as members of civil society and religious leaders.
 During her 3-day visit, Pandit, who has been assigned the job to reach out to the Muslim world, will have wide ranging discussion on various important issues like religious tolerance and extremism to develop strong bonds of friendship with over 1.4 billion Muslim community. The Kashmir-born diplomat is not paying visit to her ancestral home.
