Sagar for punishment to Zahid’s killers

Srinagar, Feb 6: A high level meeting was held at Police Control Room Srinagar today where prevailing situation was reviewed. The meeting was presided over by the Minister for Rural Development, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Sagar.
Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul, Minister of State for Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani and MLC, G. Q. Pardesi, Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda, Additional Director General of Police, CID, K. Rajindera Kumar, IGP, Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad, DIG, H. K. Lohia, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Mehraj Ahmad Kakroo and SSP, Srinagar, Javaid Riyaz were present in the meeting.
Sagar emphasized in the meeting that all steps should be taken to apprehend the culprits responsible for killing Zahid Farooq of Brain Nishat. He said exemplary punishment should be given to the culprits. Sagar said in spite of the fact there was no provocative situation in the area, the investigation authorities should reveal all the facts and circumstances which led to the killing of young Zahid Farooq.
Sagar said Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has already given clear instructions for thorough inquiry of the incident.
Sagar, Mubarak Gul, Nasir Aslam Wani and Pardesi were unanimous for conducting in depth investigation and bring the persons responsible before the public, who have done this heinous crime so that their motto is exposed.
Sagar appreciated both police and civil administration for taking appropriate steps to maintain law and order but Sagar at the same time appealed right thinking citizens to help in restoration of peace and normalcy.
