Strengthen eco, social fabric of society: Malik to teachers

Jammu, Feb 7: The minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik today asked the teaching fraternity, to strengthen economic, cultural and social fabric of the region through education, research and enterprise.
Addressing a function of two-day NAAC National Seminar on quality enhancement at SPMR college of Commerce here, he said the college affiliated to the University of Jammu was proud of its alumni, who had proved their mettle.
He said the college was committed to prepare young managers to face the inevitable challenges arising from privatization and liberalization.
The principal SPMR College, Prof Hemla Aggarwal hoped that the recommendations of the seminar would help policy makers and functionaries to streamline the teaching-learning process to its optimum level. The Minister also released the Souvenir and E-News letter of the college.
