Srinagar, Feb 8: General Motors India has opened dealership in Srinagar and launched the all new Chevrolet Beat here.
 With this, GM now has two dealerships and two service centres in the state taking the overall tally to 205 sales points and 198 service outlets across India.
 At new dealership K C Motors located at Bypass Road, Hyderpora, Srinagar, GM India has showcased all its Chevrolet brand of vehicles including Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Tavera, Chevrolet Optra, Chevrolet Captiva, Aveo and the Aveo Uva.
 Inaugurating the new outlet, Karl Slym, President and Managing Director said: “We are pleased to appoint KC Motors as our partner in Srinagar to support the ever increasing customer base of Chevrolet vehicles in the region.”
 He said the dealership was equipped to provide unmatched services and ambience to its customers.
 A wide range of exclusive accessories will also be on display for customers’ benefit Additionally, a team of GM trained engineers would be available at the workshop with garage tools and tackles, diagnostic equipment, ultra modern body repair shop and computerized facilities for attending to every need of the GM customers in the region, a company statement said.
 The Chevrolet Beat launched is the new global mini car to be the key pillar of Chevrolet’s growth strategy in India.
 Based on GM’s global mini-vehicle architecture, the experts took 27 months to develop the Beat.
 Chevrolet Beat would be launched in over 150 markets around the world including those in Europe, other parts of Asia and North America in the coming days.

 The Beat comes in three trim levels of 1.2,1.2LS and 1.2LT. In addition, an Option pack is available on the LT variant which consists of ABS, Alloy wheels. Dual Airbags and Seatbelts with Load limiters.
