Why criticize?

This refers to the letter “Why criticize NRKs unnecessarily” (GK Jan 30) by Mushtaq Rasool I agree with his views. Being an outsider does not mean that NRKs have no sympathies for Kashmiri people, and that they do not feel the pain that Kashmiris are witnessing over the years. It does not mean they are traitors. Only Kashmiris don’t live outside. The phenomenon is common with all the countries. Lakhs of people from India, Paksitan, Australia live in America, England or France. Does that mean they don’t have sympathy for their mother land? No. Gandhi went to South Africa to end discrimination with Indians there. He did not tell the Indians to return home. Instead, he tried hard to ensure that Indians are treated properly in South Africa and given equal rights. The NRs have not committed any sin by leaving their native place. It is good if they have made some associations to help Kashmir cause. If they are contributing their bit then it should be welcome. After all NRKs are also Kashmiris
