CAG report on JKPCC discussed

Jammu, Jan 11: The Public Undertaking Committee (PUC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has asked the Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation Limited (JKPCC) to work with utmost dedication and ensures judicious use of funds while executing development projects. The Committee also observed that no work should be executed without proper approval of the concerned authorities.
 The Committee which met here under the Chairmanship of MLA,   A.R. Veeri held threadbare discussion on CAG’s Audit Report pertaining to JKPCC for the year 2005-06.
 Legislators, Mir Zahoor,   Yash Paul Kundal,   Feroz Ahmad Khan,   Charanjit Singh,   Ashok Kumar,   M.Y. Taing,   Naresh Kumar Gupta and   Jugal Kishore, who also attended the meeting, gave their suggestions for making the JKPCC a vibrant and result oriented organization.
 Among others, Commissioner/Secretary R&B,   Mehboob Iqbal, Director General Accounts & Treasuries,   Wali Muhammad Bhat, Director General Archives,   K. A.Qadri, Vice Chairman, LAWDA,   Irfan Yasin, Secretary Legislative Assembly,   M. Ramzan, Deputy Accountant General J&K,   K Mathur, Managing Director, JKPCC, S. Thuseen Mustafa and other senior officers attended the meeting.
