SIE starts library program

Srinagar, Jan 11: The State Institute of Education on Monday started a 5-day program on latest techniques to run libraries at its Bemina office.
The program was inaugurated by Director of School Education Kashmir, Shagufta Parveen while the SIE Principal, Adbul Aziz Mir was also present on the occasion.
Parveen highlighted the role of modernizing libraries in the present day life particularly in the sphere of education.
The program sponsored by Regional Institute of Education Ajmer is being executed under the guidance of Chief Librarian SIE, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, a spokesman said.
Amongst others SIE, Research Officer, Showkat Ahmed Azdoo was also present at the function.
