Bajaj Discover DTS-Si wins ‘100cc bike of the year’ award

Srinagar, Jan 16: It’s raining awards for Bajaj Auto all the way. With exciting launches in the past few months, Bajaj Auto has been conferred with a slew of accolades.  All leading channels and Auto Magazines have recognized and appreciated all the recent launches from Bajaj – the 100cc Discover DTS-Si, the Kawasaki Ninja 250R and the Pulsar 135LS. 
 The Discover  DTS-Si won the ET-Zigwheels ‘100cc bike of the year’ and Most Value for Money bike of the year award while NDTV Profit-Car & Bike announced it as the motorcycle of the year in the category upto 125cc, the company in a statement said.  The bike which was launched in July 2009 has already received tremendous response from the customers with more than 3.5 Lakh vehicles already on road. 
 The Kawasaki Ninja 250 won the fifth edition of the coveted IMOTY award, judged by all leading automobile experts. The Ninja also won the CNBC-Overdrive bike of the year award, the NDTV-Car & Bike award as well as the ET-Zigwheels award in the 250cc category.
 ET-Zigwheels has recognized the newly launched Pulsar 135LS with the prestigious bike of the year award as well as the Technology of the Year Award for the revolutionary 4-valve DTS-i engine. The 4-valve technology combined with the patented DTS-i engine on the Pulsar 135LS, maximizes combustion to deliver enhanced power and superior mileage with low emissions, resulting in one of the most efficient production engines ever.  This slew of awards is a further testament to Bajaj Auto leadership in innovation and technology.
