JKLF pays tributes to Gaw Kadal martyrs

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front has paid rich tributes to the martyrs’ of 1990 Gaw Kadal massacre.
A spokesman of the party said, on January 21, 1990, more than 60 pro-freedom supporters were martyred by forces, which laid the foundation of the ongoing freedom struggle.
“It was the day when they followed the footsteps of Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and laid down their lives for a just cause,” he said.
“The struggle continues and on this day when we observe their anniversary, we vow to carry forward their mission,” he added.
JKLF has organized a condolence meeting at Basant Bagh on January 21 at 2 PM in the memory of these martyrs.
