Pandit body demands scrapping of service condition
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
Jammu, Jan 19: Welcoming the recruitment drive by the Jammu and Kashmir Government for Kashmiri migrants, an organisation of Pandits, however has demanded that the condition that a migrant employee cannot seek transfer from the place where he is posted throughout his career be scrapped.
“We welcome the first phase of employment package. But at the same time we reject the new service conditions adopted by the government under open merit category through State Service Recruitment Board,” Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj President, R K Bhat, told reporters here.
Bhat alleged the condition was shocking.
The recruitment drive is being done as part of the Prime Minister’s package for the state.
