JKSM condemns separatists’ harassment
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Jan 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement today condemned the harassment of pro-freedom leaders and civilians in run up to the R-Day.
In a statement, it alleged that police and troops tried to implicate Reyaz Ahmad Teli by keeping a grenade at his resident in Bijbehara. “It was due to the protests and shutdown that he was released,” the party said adding that many persons had been implicated in such manner.
“The valley has turned into a police state,” its chairman, Zafar Akbar Bhat said.
Condemning the killing of Manzoor Ahmad of Varmul, he said that it was an eye-opener for world and reflects atrocities committed on Kashmiris. He also castigated the police move of asking the former militants to report in police stations.
He also prayed for the martyrs of Gaw Kadal massacre.
