Jammu, Jan 21: The government has appointed two candidates as Junior Agriculture Assistants in the pay scale of 6500-10500 (pre-revised) in the state cadre of Agriculture Production Department “against available vacancies) under direct quota in terms of SRO 349 of 1998. They are: Vijay Kumar Sharma son of Sat Pal Sharma of Manda, Akhnoor, Jammu, and Vishal Dutt Sharma son of Vishnu Dutt Sharma of 89 Tanga Wali Gali, Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
According to the government order No 112-GAD of 2010 dated 21-01-2010, the appointees shall be on probation for two years and shall report to the Director Agriculture, Jammu, within 21 days. They shall be allowed to join on production/ verification of various certificates.
Meanwhile, vide government order No 109-GAD of 2010 dated 21-01-2010, the government sanctioned placement of two senior stenographers of the Jammu and Kashmir Secretariat (Subordinate) Service, Abdul Rehman Ganai and Kuldip Raj (SC), as private secretaries in their own grade with admissible charge allowance for six months or till the posts are filled up on a regular basis on recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee / Public Service Commission, whichever is earlier.
Consequently, Ganai has been transferred from the personal section of the Deputy Chief Minister and posted as private secretary in the J&K State Information Commission against an available vacancy, while Kuldip Raj has been transferred from ARI and Trainings Department and posted as private secretary with Director, Soil Conservation, J&K, against an available vacancy.
