Bhat appointed Varmul DC

Jammu, Jan 21: The government has appointed Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bandipore, as the Deputy Commissioner, Varmul, and Shabbir Ahmad Kanth as Special Secretary, Co-operatives.
Parvaiz Ahmad Malik, who had been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Varmul, has been retained as Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, as its secretary has gone abroad, official sources said.
