Vague advertisement
This refers to the job advertisement for relationship executive IT by J&K Bank (GK January 20. It is quite surprising that how an institute like J&K Bank can publish such a vague advertisement. The advertisement doesn’t mention the eligibility clearly. The specific branch of BE/B.Tech is not mentioned or should we understand that BE/B.Tech civil, metallurgy, water resources, chemical etc. all are eligible for the IT post. Also it doesn’t mention the number of vacancies available. The eligibility and the number of vacancies for the post should have been clearly mentioned. As per norms followed by many Multi National Companies besides BE/BTech, computer science, IT, electronics & communications MCA is also eligible for such vacancies. Relationship executive IT is not that much technical post even if it was still then MCA candidates are eligible. If the amendments are not made in the advertisement, the aspiring candidates will have every doubt that the vacancies have been advertised for some blue-eyed BE/ B.Tech (any branch) boys.
