Birla Century Cotton coming to Valley

Srinagar, June 11: Looking for super fine cotton fabrics in the Valley? Your search is about to end soon. Birla Century, a division of Century Textiles and Industries Limited known for producing world class superior cotton, will soon be inaugurating its showroom in the Valley.
 “It will be our first store in the state of J&K. Our group B.K Birla Companies is world famous for producing 100 per cent cotton fabrics,” said Ankur Chabda, Regional Manager North Birla Century
 “Century's cloth is reaching to almost every part of the world. Our cloth has carved a niche in the highly competitive international markets,” he said. Assuring quality goods at affordable prices, he said:  “This will be our 76 outlet across India. We have our outlets in almost every state of the country.”
  “This out let will comprise of all the combination of products which will include fabric, apparel (readymade garments) and bed covers,” he added.
 Birla Century product range includes Shirting, Suiting, Fancy and Finer Fabrics, Bed Covers, Bed Linen and ready to wear garments.
 “The store will carry major formal and casual products for both men and women like shirts, trousers, T-Shirts, Kurta-Pajamas. In women wear we will have ladies kurtas, chooridar, indo- western wear, shirts, tops, shalwar kameez, jeans, caprie and all,” said Ankur.
 “We will also have accessories like ties, belts, handkerchiefs, socks, boxer, shorts etc. we will be giving our customers a great shopping experience under one roof,” he added.
 The group is 110 years old and is well known by the name of cottons throughout the world.  “We are quite experienced in this field from past many decades. We export our fabrics to many outside countries. Ours is 100% super fine cotton and we do not manufacture any blended goods. We are making all the products using 100% cotton which is our main specialty,” he added.
 According to Ankur the brand has maintained uniformity in prices across the country and the people in the valley will not need to pay any additional charges.
 “We have uniform prices, quality and products all our India. Our products will sell here at the prices that we offer in all other state. The people will not be made to pay any extra money for importing the goods,” he said.
  “Our price range is very affordable. Ours is not an ultra premium brand, it suits the needs of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Now people here can enjoy wearing 100 per cent super fine cotton in very affordable range,” he added.
 The showroom of the company will come up in Town Square Mall and will be inaugurated on 14th of this month. “Our brand ha always been in great demand among Kashmiri people. They loved our fabric and used to come to Mumbai to purchase it. It was they who persuaded us to come to Srinagar,” said Ankur.
  “We have recently established our latest state–of-the-art plant at Baroj Gujrat where we are manufacturing our products. It is a big plant where we have all the latest equipments available for the proper development of our products,” he added.
