Police keeping masters happy: UJC
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 12: The United Jehad Council, a conglomerate of 13 militant outfits, today expressed deep anguish over the killing of Tufail Ahmed Matto.
In a statement to vernacular news agency, the UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain said, “Police are killing teenagers to keep their masters happy.”
He alleged that police was supporting army “in oppressive methods”.
“Police instead of suppressing their consciousness should openly convey to authorities that they are against opening fire on their own people,” he added.
Expressing sympathy and solidarity with bereaved family, he described the killing as part of “systematic genocide of Kashmiris.”
He urged all pro-freedom political, religious, social and militant organizations to unite at this juncture.
