'Centre failed to check price rise'
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
Jammu, Jan 25: The BJP today staged demonstrations in various parts of Jammu region alleging that UPA Government failed in checking price rise.
Former party state unit chief Nirmal Singh, who led the protest in Kathua district, alleged that the Centre failed to check unprecedented rise in prices of essential commodities.
“Congress is focusing on how to benefit a handful of big business houses, hoarders and black-marketeers as a result of which prices shoot up,” he alleged.
Similar protests were held in Reasi and Rajouri districts too.
