Lifting ban
This refers to the lifting of ban on pre-paid mobile connections. First "serious security implications" were cited and the prepaid connections were silenced. The move rendered thousands of youth jobless besides caused huge inconvenience to millions of subscribers. Now after the subscribers converted their SIM cards to post-paid, the Home Ministry has lifted the ban. But this has been done only after the companies earned millions of rupees on account of conversion charges. This is highly condemnable. The Home Ministry is perhaps considering Kashmir as a circus where it can play whatever the game it likes.
