FCI employees demand adequate manpower in Kashmir, Ladakh

Srinagar, Jan 28: A general body meeting of BKNK SANG was held at Food Corporation of India Srinagar office today. The meeting discussed the issues of the employees at FCI Srinagar. The employees urged the management to post adequate staff at all cadres in Kashmir/Ladakh region where a meager staff is working. The employees said because of the deficiency of the staff in Kashmir and Ladakh, “we are facing huge problem in the face of increased capacity of godowns.” The union demanded that the entries in FCI district Srinagar be made from Kashmir/Ladakh regions only. The employees strongly demanded the implementation of 6th pay commission report in their favour. The meeting among others was attended by Munshi Rafiq, chairman of the union, M Paul Singh convener.
