‘Stop Papa from carrying mobile in jail’

Srinagar: A complaint has been filed with the Sessions Court Srinagar against the Superintendent of police Central Jail Srinagar for providing mobile phone to Papa Kishtwari, who is presently under arrest.   
 During the trial of the case, the complainant Zahoor Ahmad Mir, filed an application before the Court alleging that the superintendent Srinagar jail is providing mobile phone and other facilities to Kishtwari.
 The application said that Kishtwari was instructing his “other gunmen” to harass the complainant and other prosecution witnesses. The Court has directed the Superintendent of Police Central Jail Srinagar to submit his report with respect to the allegations leveled on next date of hearing.  
 Meanwhile, the prosecution today filed an additional chargsheet against Kishtwari in support of their case already pending before the Court. On March 2, 2007 Police station Nishat registered an FIR No 16/2007 against Papa Kishtwari.
