Javid Mir welcomes Pak PM’s statement

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Jan 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (R) vice-chairman, Javed Ahmad Mir, Friday welcomed Pakistan Prime Minister, Yosuf Raza Gilani’s where he had expressed desire of resuming composite dialogue with New Delhi.
In a statement, a JKLF (R) spokesman quoting Mir said, “Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should reciprocate in same manner so that future of people living in sub-continent is made better. Instead of reading Saghir Committee report, Singh, should see how hostility between the two countries can be ended.”
“Sagir report like formulas have always failed to settle Kashmir dispute. India and Pakistan have fought so many wars on Kashmir. Now it is the time that both should sit and find an honourable solution of the problem,” he added.
Mir was addressing the party worker after Friday prayers. He said that four generations of Kashmir have been consumed by the conflict. “It is responsibility of the international community to intervene now to save the future of coming generations. Peace will elude south Asia till Kashmir isn’t solved according to the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
