March to Pathar Masjid today: Hurriyat (G) to women

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, June 30: Reiterating its call for Pathar Masjid Chalo on July 1 and Eidgah Chalo on July 2, the Hurriyat Conference (G) has urged people to make “Quit Kashmir” campaign a success.
The general secretary of the conglomerate, Masarat Alam Bhat, in a statement on Wednesday, appealed Kashmiri women to play their role in the ongoing freedom struggle and make it to Pathar Masjid in large numbers on Thursday.
Regarding the Eidgah Chalo programme on Friday, Masrat Alam said, “On this day at Eidgah, pledge to take the ongoing movement and mission of martyrs to its logical end will be reaffirmed. This will be followed by adopting a resolution that will be seconded by people. After Friday prayers, Nimaz-i-Jinaza Gayibana (funeral prayers in absentia) of the recently martyred youth will be offered.”
Alam paid  rich tributes to the youth who were killed by paramilitary CRPF troopers at Islamabad on Wednesday. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
He alleged that the armed forces barged into the residential houses in many areas of the Srinagar city on Wednesday and resorted to arson.
