PDP, BJP to launch protest against JK govt
Jammu, June 30: Accusing the Omar Abdullah government of "failing" in security front, opposition PDP today said that it would launch a signature campaign from July 1 to mobilize public opinion against the ruling NC-Congress combine.
"PDP will go to the people over the total failure of Omar Abdullah government in all fronts including security, political and development. We will launch a signature campaign to mobilize public opinion in this regard from tomorrow," state general secretary of PDP youth wing Nadeem Khan told reporters here.
Meanwhile, the state unit of BJP said it would hold a region-wise protest against the NC-Congress coalition government tomorrow for its repeated attempts to "demoralize the security forces operating in Kashmir under a well planned conspiracy".
"BJP will hold protest demonstrations on July 1 throughout Jammu province at district levels against the Omar government for its repeated attempts to demoralize the security forces in valley under a well planned conspiracy.
