Price hike
This refers to editorial in Greater Kashmir on 28th June titled "Fueling the Inflation." You have rightly reflected the repercussions the oil price hike would have on masses. Inflation is around 17% already and with oil price hike it is estimated that there will be an increase of 1% to 3% in inflation. UPA is claiming to be people friendly but practically acting against them. Oil is the commodity which is directly or indirectly associated with everything we require in day to day life. The state government should also look for the measures and try to compensate the oil price hike and lessen the poor people's burden.
