Sagar for construction of sarai at Tujjar Sharief

Srinagar: The Minister for Rural Development and Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Sagar today directed construction of a double storeyed Sultan-ul-Arifeen Rural sarai for the visitors and pilgrims to Tujjar Sharief, Sopur.
The sarai would be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.50 crores by the J&K Projects Construction Corporation and would comprise 16 rooms and eight dining halls laced with all modern facilities.
Chairing a meeting, Sagar directed the MD JKPCC to complete the project within two working seasons for which he released Rs 1.50 crore as the first installment. He said the sarai would facilitate the visiting pilgrims particularly during Urs days.
MLA Sopur, Haji Muhammad Ashraf, Secretary Rural Development Department, Yedullah, Director, Rural Development Department, Kashmir, Jehangir Mir, MD JKPCC, Tehsin Mustafa and other officers were present.
