BJP alleges nexus between BSNL, Pvt mobile operators
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, July 12: The State BJP alleged nexus between the higher officials of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and the Private Operators of mobile service in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, BJP state general secretary, Sat Sharma expressed concern over the poor services provided by the BSNL to its customers in J&K.
Sat Sharma said there had been repeated complaints against the working of the BSNL in state as the customers were facing problems due to poor connectivity of the mobiles with BSNL service. He said it takes too long to contact a person.
“Most times, the BSNL mobile exchange replies of lines being busy and many a times, the mobile users have to hear that dialed number does not exist, despite the fact that the same number was working few minutes ago and it works later on too”, he said.
Sharma said a thorough inquiry by CBI needs to be conducted to see if the BSNL officials are ‘intentionally’ doing all this to force the customers to abandon their BSNL connections and switch over to private mobile services.
He said how unfortunate it was that the BSNL displays its efficiency in matters related to the depositing of mobile bills. “It immediately snaps services if there was little delay in depositing bill due to some unavoidable circumstances, but has totally failed to provide satisfactorily services to its customers.”
He declared that failure on part of the Union Minister to order an inquiry and set the things in order will force the party activists to come on roads and organize protests against BSNL.
