Cheap blood

New Delhi has denied use of Army in Naxal-infested areas where 154 CRPF men have been killed in the last couple of months. But Army has been called in for Srinagar city, apparently to kill more Kashmiris. Is it democracy at its “finest”? Recently the Bhartiya Janata Party and CPI (M) called for India Bandh. During the protests people burnt over 70 buses and stopped train service. But not a single bullet was fired at them? Why then fire bullets at Kashmiris? Is Kashmiri blood so cheap that anyone can play with it with impunity?
