Journalists unite
It is very disturbing to note that Kashmiri media persons are being banned from covering day to day happenings in the valley while the journalists coming from New Delhi are given a special treatment and are allowed to carry out their assignments. This discrimination is certainly uncalled for and has to be condemned by all. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who appears to be liberal should take immediate corrective action so that no injustice is done to local media persons. The local journalists should also show solidarity by boycotting Government functions. Long leave journalists’ unity !
