SRINAGARITES CONTINUE TO FEED ATTENDANTS AT CITY HOSPITALS

Srinagar, July 12: In the wake of shortage of the food items at hospitals across the City, the Magarmal Bagh Relief Committee Monday pooled money and prepared food for the patients and their attendants across the City hospitals.
 The locals hired cooks and prepared tea and lunch which was distributed at SMHS hospital, Children’s hospital and L D Maternity hospital.
 “We felt that patients were badly in need of the food items. We pooled raised funds and provided the food to the poor and needy,” a committee member said.
 “We appeal all the Mohalla committees of Srinagar to come forward and help the needy,” he said.
 Meanwhile, in the past days of stringent curfew the residents of Aloocha Bagh also raised community kitchen to feed the attendants at LD Hospital.
