‘Sacrifices of youth will not go vain’
Srinagar, July 14: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front vice-chairman, Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat on Wednesday said the killing of three persons in cold blood in Islamabad was glaring example of New Delhi’s oppressive policies against Kashmiris.
In a statement, the party said Bhat led a delegation to express solidarity with the families of the slain trio. He conveyed sympathies to the families of the youth on behalf of party chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik.
Bhat termed the probe into the killings as an eye-wash. “It is ironical that the accused policemen are roaming scot-free. The martyrdom of youth will not go futile,” he said.
Among others, the delegation comprised party leaders, Noor Muhammad Kalwal and Showkat Ahmad Bakshi.
Meanwhile, the party has condemned the continuous arrest of Muhammad Yasin Malik and the arrest of teenagers and youth and slapping of PSA on them.
