Srinagar, July 14: The Left party in the state today said the Valley was facing “shortage of medicines and essential commodities.”
Expressing deep concern over “shortage of medicine in hospitals and essential commodities in Kashmir,” CPI (M) State Secretary and MLA Kulgam today asked the administration to gear up to address the grievances of people immediately.
In a press statement here today Tarigami said the recurrent reports of shortage of ration, cooking gas, and kerosene oil and other food items require an immediate attention from the government. “Due to the restrictions and shutdowns, the people in various areas of the Valley are suffering for want of essential commodities, etc. Government should gear-up the concerned departments and make it sure that the same is made available to them at the earliest,” he said.
