15 Taliban militants killed in Pakistan

Peshawar, July 15: Fifteen Taliban militants were killed and several others injured as fighter jets targeted terrorist positions in the volatile Orakzai tribal region in northwest Pakistan today, security sources said.
The jets bombarded Taliban hideouts at Ghundaki, Mashti Kandi, Chapri Alikhel and Dharra Dhar Mamzai areas of Orakzai Agency that borders Afghanistan.
Three hideouts were also destroyed in the air strikes.
In a separate development, security forces apprehended a foreign fighter named Badshah Gah during a search operation near Thall in Hangu district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.The troops recovered four machine guns, 12 grenades, and 10 kg of explosives from his possession. Police in Hangu also detained 37 suspects, including two proclaimed offenders, during search operations.
