Girl dies, 42 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, July 15: A minor girl was killed and 42 were wounded in road mishaps across the Jammu and Kashmir.
 In Kashmir, a girl was killed and five other were wounded when a Tipper (JK04-4131) hit a Sumo (JK01N-5646) at Dangerpora Sumbal Bandipore on Thursday, police said adding the deceased had been identified as Seerat Afzal daughter of Muhammad Afzal Ganie of Barsoo Ganderbal. Police has registered a case.
 In another incident, a Tempo Traveler (JK02AC-5732) met with an accident at Hyderpora Bypass injuring two persons Vinod Jaspal son of Joginder and Babita wife of Nitish Khandiwal of Kisheny MP. The wounded have been hospitalised.     
 Meanwhile, in Jammu 35 passengers were injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Udhampur district today.
 The bus was going to Ramnagar in Udhampur when it skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Ramkote, 135 kms from here, police said.
 The injured have been hospitalised.
