'200 bedded maternity hospital in Jammu soon'

 Jammu, July 16: Minister for Medical and Technical Education, R S Chib and Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation,  Raman Bhalla today chaired a level meeting to discuss the issues related to the construction of 200 bedded maternity hospital in Jammu
An official statement said Chib has directed the concerned officers to prioritize the process of identification of suitable site for the construction  of the hospital and constitute a committee  under AC(R) Jammu for submitting report in this regard before 19th July so that the matter can be discussed in the coming District Development Board meeting .He stressed on the checking the feasibility and accessibility of the location for construction of the hospital so that it will pertinently cater to the health needs of the patients .He said that this project is a step forward in improving the health care facilities for the people adding that this ambitious project will strengthen the health care system in state
The Minister asked for coordinated efforts from all the departments so that the project can take off well on time and there are no undue delays in its completion.
