‘PDP is extension of Congress’

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, July 1:  The Senior National Conference leader and MLA Hazratbal, Dr Mustafa Kamal, on Thursday described main opposition party Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the extension of his party's coalition partner  Congress, and accused it of fomenting trouble in the Valley.
“A conspiracy has been hatched to weaken the National Conference and the recent killings in Islamabad are a glaring instance of it,” Dr Kamal said.
He accused Congress and PDP of devising a joint strategy to weaken NC in the Srinagar city. “Workers of these parties have joined hands to keep the city disturbed so that NC loses control,” he said. “Congress should stop day dreaming about making NC weak. The NC is the oldest party of Jammu and Kashmir and it is capable of giving a befitting reply to its enemies.”
Dr Kamal said that if Congress did not change its attitude, it would prove “suicidal” for the party. “If it continues with its dirty games it will disappear from the political arena of the Valley,” he added.
Dr Kamal supported the recent statement of the senior NC leader and Law Minister, Ali Muhammad Sagar, about he asking the union Home Minister to rein in forces. “He gave that statement on right time and I salute him for giving such a bold statement,” Dr Kamal added.
