JK Bank inaugurates Khidmat Service

Srinagar, July 1: The J&K Bank inaugurated one more Common Service (Khidmat) Centre Monday at Barmeen, Udhampur amid an impressive gathering of senior citizens, students and other locals. S. P. Singh, Sr. Director, Department of Information Technology, Government of India, inaugurated the centre owned by a woman entrepreneur. Speaking on the occasion, Singh praised the efforts of J&K bank for maintaining the quality of services and its brand image in all the CSCs across the state. Hailing the entrepreneurial spirit of women, he said, “It will enlighten the lives of rural women besides empowering them in socio-economic sense.” J&K Bank Cluster Head, Udhampur Sadiq was also present on the occasion. Singh visited other centres of the district also.
