150 kgs of poppy seized, 2 smugglers held

Jammu: Two narcotic smugglers were arrested and 150 kilogram of poppy was recovered from their possession in Jammu district.
 A police team intercepted a truck at Miran Sahib at the outskirts of Jammu city and recovered 150 kilogram of poppy packed in seven bags from the vehicle last evening, Sub Divisional Police Officer, R S Pura, H S Gill said here today.
 The smugglers-Amerjeet Singh and Vishwanath-were arrested and a case has been registered against them, he said.
